LATEST TRENDS OF THE SEASON
So it’s that time of the year again when we wave off the summers and welcome the Fall/Winter season. Before we even realize that the season is changing, the fashion industry is all set with the new trends, colors and styles that are going to rule the season. So, Let’s have a look at some of the latest trends from the fashion weeks this season. Shall we?
1. THE VELVETY VELVET- The plush fabric, that we remember wearing in a frock as children is back to be an important part of your closet. Now in every shade including Persian blue to oxblood red, it is seen across cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, crop tops, dresses and evening gowns.
2. RUFFLES- This 70’s fashion trend has been doing the rounds lately. It was there in spring season and is going to slay all along the A/W as well since the collection was seen on almost every ramp. Opt for architectural ruffles for more stiff and less floppy way to bring a twist of modernity to your look.
3. CAPELET- A bit of retro, but chic enough! Capelets are undoubtedly the new jackets of fall. They are a tremendous work of designers that gives you the perfect cover up possible with all. Those layers still showing. Yes, one can be warm yet fashionable in clothes without being out of trend.
4.THE STATEMENT CHOKER- Chokers were in trend all summers. Every girl loved wearing that black designer cut-out belt on her neck (in spite of the fact that it shouldn’t be worn that way). But this season we have broader chokers in different varieties like velvet, metal or leather as seen adorned by fashion enthusiasts that covers the whole neck.
5.FUR COLLAR COATS- We have always loved fur in our coats and dresses. And this time as well Fur Collar coats have managed to mark its place on every runway and every fashion week possible. Deep colors like black and grape, light pastel colors or even Marble patterns were used by the top notch designers.
6.HOLD THAT RIGHT- This season, Wear your cross body bag across your body, tying them onto your belt or carry them under your arm. Remember like we used to do in schools? Because carrying your bag on shoulders or arms is too mainstream!
7.EXAGGERATED SLEEVES- The extra/ long sleeve trend was a hit abroad and this season it has a secure place in our Indian designers’ trend list as well. It was a bit impractical the way it was showcased by the designers abroad. But our Indian Designers have made it quite wearable.
